The Beginner's Guide

    First off, this isn't a guide. Sorry.
    I needed a creative name and that just popped into my head.
    Good game too.

    Anyway, I'm a 19 year-old university student from UK (studying computer science). I've dabbled in freelancing on Fiverr and various other platforms, and sort of always knew IM was for me.

    After much hesitation, I've finally got my business up and running.

    Currently, I'm blogging about SEO techniques, mainly web 2.0's, 301 redirects, link wheels, stuff like that.

    The services I sell are: managed hosting (for people who don't know what a domain is :p), anything to do with WordPress, SEO & ORM. I also offer a few programming services but don't focus as heavily on those.

    I'm definitely not new to SEO, but I'm still unsure of my full capabilities so don't want to oversell myself and then not be able to deliver what I claimed.

    In terms of ORM I'm just creating web 2.0's and parasites with hand-written content (content outsourced). I'm wanting to also offer social media account management where I post relevant info & interact with the clients' followers, but don't feel comfortable doing that yet.

    I also have some dropshipping & affiliate sites in the works.

    I've made about $400 profit from 3 clients so far, but outreach isn't my strong point, because as I've said I'm still unsure of my capabilities so don't want to reach out to someone and be like:

    "Hey, I can give you this service for money!"

    and then they give me money and I can't give them what I promised.

    Anyway, I think that'll do for now.
