Hi guys,

Recently I'm doing Pinterest+Amazon method, earning about 80$/day max.

My method is simply directing Pinterest traffic to my site, it's quite an old but workable method.

I have read somewhere before, saying if you're going to advertise on Classified or social media site to get traffic to your site, you're gonna get a ban (a few bros in here bank about 20k/ month and got ban though).

So that's my problem right now, I'm not sure if i'm complying with the Amazon ToS (I've read it before and many times too), because if I'm not advertising, how the hell I can get traffic anyway o_0 ?

Please share your experience, what triggers the Amazon Hammer ?

Interesting.

yea i've also heard of people getting banned from amazon for this, though i personally feel like it would be difficult to get banned unless your really doing some heavy spamming.

one thing you could try is simply redirecting your clicks instead of directing them straight to amazon to another site and then redirecting them to amazon.

good luck.

You must be doing some serious work to make the money you say you do with Amazon. I would love to know your method. The redirect as mentioned is likely the best way to go.

Thanks, however what i'm being puzzled is that Amazon practices such unclear parameter for "Violated Affiliate", basically I understand they don't want us to bring their logo, brand name or whatever and cloak it around the web, but isn't Redirecting the same way o_0?

Anyone care to explain this: (It's from the Amazon Associates Participation Program Requirements)

19. You will not use Special Links to link to the Amazon Site from references to items on your site that are not Products.

I am particularly worried because:

Say i have photos with women wearing boots, and i do link to amazon from that page - the link is amazon search results for boots. Do i break the ToS? Please help :P

Pinterest Traffic >> Your Website >> Amazon

Are you redirecting links directly from your website to amazon?

No redirect.

Photo on Pinterest -> My website with link to amazon

Instead of wondering whether you comply with some lame ass TOS, I would suggest building your own product/service so you are a 100% in control of your revenue stream. Hard but well worth it....

You see Amazon is all over google search results, so they don't want to make google look any worse, so they don't want even more amazon spam in google. Thus they pretend to crack down on some affiliates, just to please google. That's why they really have those stupid clauses in their agreement, they don't want affiliates spamming the hell out of adwords.
