This shouldn't be taken too seriously

1. Our number 1 is the "fuck the world" type of marketer. he will make money. he will use every cheap tactic in hes arsenal to make you pull out that CC, including, but not limited to - showing you brands online, but dropshipping a product from AliExpress at the end (for premium price)

2. "i Hope you don't know the competition" - he is not invested ALL IN in fuck the world, he just lives with a regular FUCK YOU type of attitude. he thinks his product is special, and even if he knows that it isn't, he will overprice it to make it look like he is the best in the market. He usually lives inside a call center.

3. "We know the competition!" - because i invested so much time in R&D that i WANT you to compare features, and see how much better my product is. it is also competitively priced.

4. "We know YOU" - doing everything in the world to make the user feel emotionally invested in the product or brand. its the ad copy, how the company core values are presented in PR, and how consumers perceive it. this is NOT a creepy re targeting where you use personal details. its a set of optimized and personalized funnels.

5. "SMM? Yuck!" - Marketers for solid brands that don't need to fake it till they make it, they play a whole different game than most growing business or agencies. Their marketers usually suck - because they can afford that too.

So from those 5, where you at?

I used to be 1. had a boss which was 2.

Changed my ways, and got from 1, to 3+4 over the years.

Never got to 5 tho :)

Started in my teens as a 1 ( as most of us probably do)
Then got into a corporate environment and became 3 I guess.
Would love to become a number 4. Thats´s my goal. I think it needs loads of creative talent to reach that

still trying to up the game and make it to 5 ;)

Good luck getting there. i think number 4 is solid enough if it is your business. always be your own number 4 than someone elses number 5. (if you are your own 5, well, can you be my suga daddy?)

I agree, most corporate marketing strategies go with raw data and ROI, and investing less in the emotional part. depends on the nature of the service tho.

You do need talent to put yourself in the customer's shoes, in a perfect way, and sometimes even across niches.

it comes down to LONG research most of the times. and live research where you buy data not just analyze existing data.

You also need SICK copywriters, who know the business model as well as you, to pin point the right barriers and attack them from the right angles.

Anyway, 4 is harder than 5 overall. its obvious just like selling Nike is easier than selling a very good looking non branded sneaker.

6th Type:
Please spoon-feed me.

It can't count because marketers put info out to the world, regardless of it form, its output.

with spoon feeding, you ask for input, and this is for the "5 type of BHW leechers" thread

Everyone goes through those phases so no surprise

Not everyone. some people skip 1 and 2, maybe having values since youth.

others might never get to 3, 4 , 5 and be stuck on 1 or 2 forever.
