Hi everyone!

I don't usually post here, but I have an SEO question, and I know you people are experts at it.

When I type my website name in the Google incognito tab, I get "did you mean x," which is a competitor's brand with a similar name. Any way to fix this on your website with white hat SEO?

Appreciate your responses,
Luka

are both names similar? If that´s the case, Google will ALWAYS favor the more established brand.

We had similar problem with one of our clients, as we were working on the rankings that problem resolved by itself (probably) as many more people searched for the brand. I also send request to google to look into this as our client brand was copyrighted - not sure if that request had any effect tho.

The brand name definitely similar and more established, that’s why it shows that. Happened to me on one of my startup before, had to do a bunch of SEO to get rid of that.

Well, that's nice to hear.

When your website gains authority and more people start searching your brand, google will remove that question.
Great! Do you think there is an SMM service to speed up the process?

I'll contact them and see what they have to say about this. Thanks!
