did you ever upload something almost as a joke or low expectation, and it ended up bringing unexpected money?
For those trying to make real money on YouTube, how do you actually find your ideas? Do you research heavy, copy what’s working, follow trends, or just post whatever feels right?

It happens more often than people think! I once uploaded a simple tutorial without any expectations, and it became my most-viewed video. For ideas, I usually follow a mix of Google Trends and looking at what’s currently viral in my niche, then adding my own twist to it.

When you upload the same thing as everyone else, the result will either be the same as others or worse. I always follow the principle that if I think something is right, I do it, because the videos turn out to be more unique.

Yes — many creators have uploaded something casually, experimentally, or with low expectations… and it unexpectedly made money.
