That Is It, I'm Done With The UK.

London is a nut house from what I heard, with the gangs and this.

Also don't go to to L.A. It's dirty a f, unless you like spaced out places.

Lmfao this cracked me up! Queues at bars for real? I assume it's only a matter of time before it'll come over the sea to west europe then.
But as someone mentioned earlier, the last decade it went from the regulars and football fans drinking and smoking like there's no tomorrow to hipsters coming for their coffee.
A bar is not a bar anymore

Actually the first place I noticed this was in Morocco, but in a predominantly British hotel. I was fine with it here as I go to the sane hotel several times a year, and know the staff well. It's also frowned upon by them. So I can simply go to the bar and order my drink, dodging the morons. However it seems like in the UK it's accepted by herd mentality. Even though this new trend makes the bar staffs job more of a joke, even they are part of the herd who will not speak up.

I've seen this bar queuing bullshit in Australia too. It seems now that if Australia isn't copying the worst shit to come out of the US they're copying the worst shit to come out of the UK. So sad.

First time I seen it was by cyclists. I'd just parked the dog and misses outside in the sun, got my stuff together and headed in to grab pints...about 12 cyclist had formed a "single line" queue from the large bar, right across the floor and out to the door.

I couldn't bring myself to join the queue. I think I actually felt violated. Despite our awesome seats in the sun we had just leave and go to another bar. Too embarrassing.

Don't cave in to their idiotic sheep mentality. Stand at the bar. I can see by the time I go back to the UK this will be the complete norm in pubs.
