I jumped through the hoops and there was no problem getting in. I suppose I could have asked someone for an invite over the last few months, but I never really thought of it since there is so much to do here. It took some work just now, but so what?
Many thanks for opening this thread and prompting me to do this. That place is unbelievable.
Just two quick notes in case others have problems.
(1) I followed your instructions for downloading mIRC since I have never used it and doing the settings. When I restarted mIRC as instructed, I found myself in (somewhere) but all alone and waiting. Not one other party was there. I don't know what the problem was, so after a while I gave up. Then I tried the first mIRC address and suddenly there were plenty of others. I butted in a bit with a message that I wanted to join and simply followed instructions after someone answered.
(2) In your pdf files, there is a "hidden" page that you might add since it contains info needed on the application form. It deals with how long they give you to correct a bad ratio. You link to that page from the Rules page (at this sentence: "The minimum ratio requirements can be found here"). Unfortunately the pdf does not give the link, but it does give the Rules URL on the far upper right of the page. I went there and that is where I got the link.
