Textnow/Pinger and Pin Submit Offers

Are people able to complete pin submit offers using a Textnow or Pinger number on their iPhone/Android?

I used to try that a couple years ago when it asked for a number/pin confirmation. It did not ever work for me.

Why not? After you submitted your number did you not receive a text or what?

precisely, i believe they check the number's carrier network and blacklist all those sites like pinger/textnow/googlevoice/etc..
