This may be a stupid question but here it goes. I've noticed that every time you mention a site in a text to someone it creates a link. Is there any way that these texts can give some kind of SEO bonus to a site? I realize it's probly not going to be a ton. I don't know if crawlers would have access to these links, but hey I thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks!

While technically I think it would be possible, since most texts are stored on a server somewhere for 'x' amount of days or months depending on the carrier, if it was ever proven that they were allowing access to any 3rd party it would be a huge privacy concern. There really wouldn't be anything stopping them from reading all of your texts, not just the ones with links.

Your text messages are listed on the Internet so I don't think there is any possibility Google would even know about it.
