Thought this was interesting. Figured you guys would find it interesting as well.

I got this text message today with no "from" number, so it was anonymous.

It reads:

"Hey I got your number from a friend of mine, but i bet you cant guess who i am! my usernames julianax2, if you wanna come see if you recognize me online at julianax2.match-pit.org. We'll hope to see you soon!"

So, weird... I got something similar and the number was "Unkown". Been googling the message and can't find a thing.

12:53PM Monday July 07
"Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can' guess who I am! My username's stormy_lonelyhotness, if you"

Than seconds later...

12:53PM Monday July 07
"wanna come see if you recognize me online, at stormy_lonelyhotness.lovemagik.net. Well, hope to see you soon!"

Yea Steeky, looks like were getting the same spam. Must be pretty widely spread out. They gotta be hitting millions of people. If you google friend jungle, there is a ton of people getting these messages.

Thanks. I almost got my ass kicked by my gf. Thought I was cheating on her LOL. I looked at the site when I got home that day. They have an affiliate program but I think it's the company sending out the messages. Their payout method is really pathetic

Yea, i think the company is doing it as well. LOL yea there payout method is deff pathetic.

text msg spam is huge, at least when i was involved, dont know about now. 1 million msgs at a penny each, .25 % conversion at $10 a pop = happy days... i was promoting ring tones.

than why did you stop crunch? something doesnt sound right there. .25% conversion? I dont beleive that either. That seems way high.

A Penny a Text Message? You paid WAY TOO MUCH. You should have been paying about a tenth of that.
