If you're doing this for the SEO purpose, you should go with the anchor text link.

Text links are an authority over image based links. While search engines will utilize alt and title tags to identify the content of the image, your anchor text is still King. Remember a search engine spider can download an image file, but it can't see it like humans can. A search engine spider however loves and reads text.

The Big G can create problem for you, make it sure that site is safe, these days the fight of Google with anchor text schemes is on top, I will suggest you to get Nofollow Button link for referral traffic only. Not go for SEO link, you can take risk if want,

If the website uses Bootstrap, you can make a text link look like a button, maintaining all its SEO juice.

I prefer text link rather than a button as there are no chance of fail to load.

Text link is best, If the text link is your keyword then it also helps to increase the keyword position
