Text Link Ad's

Can someone tell me who they are and the benefits? Google coughs up some really useful results when I typed it in trying to find some answers -_-!

Pretty straight forward, you can purchase text links on publishers sites. The good, they have been around awhile so there are a lot of sites to choose from. The bad, they still have an option for publishers to install code for the links which leaves a footprint. They are also wicked expensive.

Ok thanks for your help it's something I have seen but never really tried you see so not certain if they would benefit from them
