I use brackets text editor but you can try sublime text or github's atom text editor both are great!

Just discovered Brackets, so using that a lot now - before that it was good old notepad++

I really love using EditPad Pro. Saves ton's of time especially if you are using regular expressions or trying to evaluate html

I use Notepad++. Its is definitely one of the best.

Sublime Text 3 is the best currently.
