"European regulators already have been investigating complaints alleging that Google has been favoring its own services in its results instead of rival websites."

lol, since when Google became part of the Government?

Since it became a company that needs to pay taxes?

Anyways, the article is talking about how google takes bribes and manipulates data to it's liking. It's not technically illegal (excluding bribery), but it can cause problems if a big enough company goes after them.

What kind of logic is that???

Lol at Google taking bribes. ********KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK outta here. And no shit they gon manipulate data to their "liking". That's what their/any search engine is about. You think they gon have something rank that they don't like? That makes no sense. Their Bias is quality of site, and that's it.

I think i actually laughed a bit when i read this.. there's a distinction between privately owned companies and government owned public companies..

How exactly can a company become guilty of taking a bribe to increase search engine ranking?

I thought that would fall under hella good SEO :P

I didn't realize there was a law that said Google couldn't do what it wants with their own company and "favor" whoever they wish

Anti-trust, monopoly, etc.

They almost broke up Microsoft on charges related to software bundling, etc.

Technically Google can do whatever they want since the service they provide is free. On the other hand, if you prove that the fact that they have likes/dislikes cost you money, then you might be golden.

I am suprised that noone has investigated or objected for the upcoming merge of Bing and Yahoo. I dont think that such mergers are good for the competition.Easier to make under the table deals for the ad prices for example.

Lazy Pigs. Just because you are in government or rich does not make you better than us. So stop complaining and if you are unhappy with your SERP rankings, go do some keyword research and build some quality backlinks like the rest of us do. Running your mouths won't help you and we won't listen.

^^lol, are you from google? I'll never build your so called "quality" links and I'll never follow your rules. I am making good money this way too :D
