I snatched up a nice gTLD. It is almost an exact match gTLD. The main keyword is sell *keyword*, and the gTLD that I got is tosell.keyword, which is also good because it should give some more emd strength to long tails. I installed a wordpress instance and already added 1 article to it, and will add another few today. I optimized the on-page factors as well.

The purpose of this is to see how much of a boost, if at all, does a website with the keyword in the TLD get. For now, the website isn't indexed. I'll update this thread accordingly.

Good Attempt. Will look for your updates. And would like to know your strategies for social media?
Cheers

No social signals will be put into this (for now). Just on page and backlinks. I'm going to start out with fresh web 2.0's, a few bookmarks and do-follow wikis, and then drip some private link network links (from a network I own).

Watching with high interest! I'm about to pull the trigger and buy several gTLDs. Please keep posting updates.

have any one notice any new gTLD in the serp's? I think they are on ignore for the moment it will flood too much Google.

Please update with the progress. I need to know how Google reacts to these gTld's.

I know Google somewhat declawed EMDs, however this MAY be different. I'm honestly skeptical, and I'm not sure how shoppers would receive these new domains compared to .coms.
