I see posts about pages or scripts leaking the referrer.
So that means your network gets a look at your iframed page and you get banned right?

So how do you test for this?

I have iframed pages with a script I purchased and it works fine but I was wondering how do you test to be sure the referrer is blanked?

    thanks!

Use Http Analyzer...it's an awesome program and will show you the referrer in any browser. Of course the program does more than that but it will suit your needs for checking the referrer.

I also use that program, you can use that, Live Headers plugin for FF or some networks tell you the referring URL

So if they ask you where your traffic is from its suggested that you just tell them that you had others steal/copy your landing page in the past and you would rather not give them that info right? Since I am new when I got the call I told them all I was new and just started. But I guess they talk to so many people that probably won't remember that or maybe they don't even really care?

I fake the referrer as a page that iFrames the offer and tell them that the traffic is paid for.

As long as you stay under the radar I don't think your going to have any issues. Keep the conversion rates normal, don't get greedy and don't put all your eggs in one basket. When people do that you avoid the majority of the problems we're talking about here.

This can also be done by using keys to access the page (Lookup codelock)
