I finally used my own site to post some news on big subreddits
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/d...-my-site-and-then-use-big-subreddits.1413394/
OK, I didn't choose the best news but it's still ok (before, I managed to get around 150k views on 1 post). Better news will drive more traffic... obviously. I chose this article because I, personally, liked it.
So here we are after 3 hours:

It was my first test.

What have I learned?
  • Yes, you can use your own site to post news and get free traffic from reddit
  • This is a news subreddit so traffic will be rubbish
  • I don't expect more then 100 clicks... but will only find out for sure tomorrow
  • If you do it right, you can target relevant subreddits
  • Karma... you can easily get post and comment karma (for comments... just be one of the first to comment on the posts you believe are catchy, don't wait for them to get popular). Not that hard to get over 1k post karma.
That's it.
PS: for most, this should help to get karma easily.

good job
I think if someone writes top-tier articles and just doesn't copy-paste them, then you can even retain viewers and create a brand name in certain niches
it will definitely require some hard work(and intelligent posting with extensive knowledge about that niche).

This time I didn't rewrite anything... just copy-paste and set article "noindex".
How many clicks you got in the end ?
I got about 1100 clicks from reddit.
Here are reddit stats (I know I could've had more with a better news)

So for my first test I think it was good.

Good job bro.

How much traffic did you get from the post in 72 hours

Test #2

OK, it was my personal choice. It was bad but it was personal for me.
In 24 hours or so I'll get a better pic.

always works when there is content based promotions. Works better if you are jobboard ;)

Try to use CPA banners too. You might get conversions :)

Huge result! very impressive! Will try these method soon.

Again... 1k visitors and it will be more.

What would be the best way to monetise this reddit traffic? (I can do it every day)

Waoooo.plsshare steps on how u do it
As I mentioned before.
I didn't really do anything... I figured that I could copy some good news and post on my site and then post on reddit.
PS: now, I'm trying to figure out how to monetise that traffic.
PSS: I would really like to hear from @Alexion

try to monetize your traffic with adsense or relevant affiliate links, check clickbank too

reddit works it you post quality content even if you post affiliate links

Def agree with you.

Reddit works if a person has QUALITY and fresh news. Otherwise, you will get banned.

Keep pushing and showing your results.

PM me, I'd be interested to partner up with you and start a new case study -- I have access to effectively unlimited upvotes and would be interested to see the viability of upvotes as a means of traffic generation in various niches
