Terrible search function on blackhatworld

Yea, the site:blackhatworld is a better solution.

Agreed,

When I do a search for example on "Bitcoin" really old threads from 2010 is listed with few post. Mabye would be better to list more up to date and active threads?

Agreed, I find it annoying search results aren't in some sort of order, you can 10 year old threads as the stop few results then a recent one then another old outdated one. It would be good to order by post date if possible.

You can change the time of the results you want to see on Google if that's what you're looking for

It's the forum software itself, they're never really good regarding the searches especially with such huge amount of posts and threads to go through. Using search engine with the site: function is always the best option

yea searching for threads can be painful at times

What exactly is the issue. You can filter your search terms down to search inside specific sub forums/forums and more.

Agree! When you do a search, it returns the entire history for that search, going back to 2006, and there seems to be no reason as to how posts are ordered in the results. There's no option to sort results by date (with most recent on top). There is an advanced option to search for posts within a specific date range, but you still have to scroll to find the most recent.
