Agreed. I'm in season 4 now, and I noticed the the change. Some of it is interesting. The back-story on the Mexican Cartel and how they murdered Gustavo's partner. The big, swaggering head-honcho guy in the silk shirt and medallion was PERFECTLY cast. Pretty much any scene with Skylar sucks. She got fat, too. Not just a bad character, she's badly played. Maybe she got the job by banging the producer, IDK. Just not believable, IMO. Like a suburban housewife pretending to be an actress that pretends to be the wife of a guy that sells meth. Too much pretending. Also too many scenes with the son. <yawn> Walt should have had a bigger family to support, to make all the risk seem more convincing. And then the newborn baby, that shows up every once in a while, when they need a boat anchor, or a door stop or something, the write the baby into the show.
