Temporarily Blocked

Hey everyone,

I have created a facebook page a couple of days back, which is dedicated to selling clothes and stuff. I have joined a total of 5 groups related to that niche. My account itself is 3 years old which I had created and forgot about.

So this is what happens, when I share a status update to above mentioned groups I get an error saying -
"You have been temporarily blocked from performing this action.
If you think you're seeing this by mistake, please let us know."

This error came after I shared about 20 status updates in a day.

I really don't know what I did wrong or am I doing something wrong. What does this mean? Am I banned from posting to groups or sharing status updates. If so how long will it take for facebook to stop showing that error.

I am new to all this. So would really appreciate any help I can get.

No, I didn't. I didn't even buy the account. I created the account some 3 years back seeing the hype around facebook and I thought of checking it out. Then after a few weeks I lost interest in facebook and I stopped operating it altogether, though I used to login every once in a while.

That account doesn't even have that many friends. What it has is 6 friends and 0 likes.

EDIT: I just found out - I am not able to join other groups in my niche. The same error pops up.

well, a sudden action on account after 3 years no posting no nothing, would trigger fb ban hammer, try to get ppl poke you it might go away, or just wait for 12 h, if not 1 week, if not 1 month, but it's probably for 12 hrs only nothing to worry about.
try to mix your moves, like, add few people, post few stuff ( pic, video, link ) like some status for others, like some fan pages.. never do a single move and repeat it..

Try to add some other admin to the page and see if the problem still persists.

i guess this is happening because u became active suddenly after a long gap of 3 years and that to 20 posts all at once... should be temporary... try again later

Its just because of sudden activity on your account
GO slow since its a old account with no activity in past.

Thank you for your advice. I changed the admin and it worked. I am now able to post to groups and add groups in my niche.

Thank you guys. I appreciate your help. Though I changed the admin, the original is still blocked till 8th Sept. I tried emailing them with no response from their side. Guess I'll just have to wait it out.
