hey

i uploaded a video 3 days ago it was taken down within ten minutes after a few thousand views and i got a warning from yt

the video which was a lot worse which was uploaded 8 days ago and got over 180k views was only just reported today and taken down

yt said becuase ive had two warning in six months they have temporarily disable my account for two weeks

and repeat offences may result in a longer ban or even termination

any one else ever had only a temp ban from youtube ?

ive only ever had accounts permanently banned!

is this a new thing?

I'm pretty sure that this isn't a new thing, I had a friend a few years back that received a temporary ban. (Not sure what the length of the ban was.)

My friend also encountered that problem but its temporary banned only..don't worry..;);)

They've had the 3 strike system since the beginning. That being said, stop uploading copyrighted videos blatantly, change pitch or something to avoid detection.

Okay that's it, stop posting on old shit to get your post count up, the question was answered so there wasn't any need to post on this.

As for the rest of your posts, the same goes with them, stop trying to get your post count up, make some constructive posts that actually have some relevance and help people instead of posting on all these shitty threads.

I've never had a temporary ban, but I've gotten nicks in my yt acct before due to a copyright issue I wasn't aware of. One thing you should know is that if you have aspirations of becoming yt partner, you need to forget about your channel and start up a new one.

Once you get just one strike from yt, you lose all chances of becoming partner. I know because I had a yt account I built for months. It was receiving hundreds of thousands of views per month, but yt declined partnership due to a strike I had.
