Telling A Mother Something She Should Never Hear.

Save up for a fan or van or how ever you would spell that, rain doesn't bother you anymore then.

A mother that sticks to her boyfriend that kicks her own son out because her boyfriend says so does NOT get her job in life. Sorry.
Wish her well, she is your mama after all, and leave her life unless you feel you still need her. Hard choice, I know, but she wasn't that loving to you either now was she?
Keep in contact with your brother.

Do not procrastinate on schooling, in the end you will have none! Take a written course if you have to, the longer the brain stays without input the harder it will to get your input in there. Remember the van? It saves you on rent so you could get a regular job and pay school instead of rent.

I also feel you are leaving parts out, not that it matters as you do NOT put your kid on the street for having a meal! Period!

Also, church! I hate those guys but you seem to be part of the club. They claim to tend to the poor so let them. ;)

Other than that I wish you well. Be it in IM or otherwise. People like you that had to work for things tend to be more emphatic, more human, more able to see things from different sides. This makes your disadvantage in life a strength in the end even if your upbringing was shite.
You will be a good father, a very important and underestimated role in the life of children. You will be that as you want your kids to do better than you in life and have seen through enough problems to make them understand why not to do certain things. Like kicking your own child to the curb just because your new love says so and you depend on their income...

Best of luck, not that you will need it but I am still rooting for you. :)

Sounds like your stepdad just didn't like you and wanted you out of the house. If he kicked you out at 16 that's pretty bad. He should have helped you and encourage you to get a job. I was in a somewhat similar situation when i was 16, and my family would actually help me find jobs that were hiring.

I'd normaly not say this. I would show up one last time. When Mr. Whatever the fuck his name is starts flapping his mouth about me being there, knock his teeth out. I'll also tell you something else. Its your mom, you only get one. I will do anything for mine. I can remember one time we were on a road trip with my step dad one time and I can remember very vividly him yelling at her. It made me very upset and I snapped. Fast forward to today my mom lives alone and I will always be her son. What I am trying to say is let nothing ever drive you apart. I was on the streets at 16 and now I'm 30, with a wonderful son and wife. Nothing was easy and it rarely is. You have to be determend to survive because if you let life hold you down it will keep you there. Times are are tough for you now but you will rise again with a vengeance.

Get rich and buy both houses next to theirs and make his life a living hell. Lol.

I know what it is like to go through tough times. You got a rough start in life which unfortunately a lot of people get.
As soon as you turn 18 though you are a man and have to make shit work. No judgement's from me as to why you
were homeless for nine years. Just know creating a business isn't easy.

Actually, working for someone else is easier. A lot of people who scoff at the idea of being homeless had mommies
basement to lounge in, so don't pay any attention to the trolls. Take your feelings of not having control of your life
and channel them into the ambitious drive that's going to make you successful.

You have no business experience, so expect to fail a few times and learn stuff the hard way before you achieve success.

PS: You choose your family in life... Some people are pieces of sh*t and you are born into it. :)

In a way, you've only one way to move now -- forward! And knowing AND doing it is a big PLUS! With only that option, many have tasted great success in life, because they now have a definite and only goal. When such is the condition, the mind gets conditioned (determined) to achieve success in life. Plan it and achieve it in good time. That step-father is your stepping stone in a way! But taking revenge in later life when you make it big isn't recommended, and when you don't do the obvious (in that regards), you'll have made your success a really sweet one... so bury the past forever as soon as you can!

Once you're determined, planned, and are on the WAY, life will reveal the ways to better opportunities! It's amazing how miraculously they appear, and in proper time, in front of those deserving ones! You'll also be destined at that time to choose the best ones! It's like m.a.g.i.c. for those who keep their eyes open for such events, and when you're moving in the fast lane, plenty of such opportunities do come across for you to grab them at will! That's the magical part of life which is determined and is actively moving towards making the life a great one...

Wishing you the very best in life! :)
