Telegram Question

So, I'm into sport betting been for years now, & just recently joined Telegram, and been looking through many channels & groups there (tipsters groups), I'm doing research for a partnership plan for a project I'm working on.

I found two groups whom the owners took the monthly subscription & disappeared ($50 & $100) lol

That kind of money is not much for me & I'm just doing research & this is not about sport betting btw, the case is about Another group where the admin sent me an invite link to a channel before deleting me saying that he made a mistake on price & I need to pay another $30. Now I checked that channel and the posts were legit, checked the posting time & when the games time ..etc and something popped up in my mind, is there a way that a channel/group admin can somehow backdate posts ? or edit the timezone for the time displayed ? I'm just curious.

Also, if someone here been into this, own a group or participated on those groups before, I'd love If you can pm me, I got a couples of questions.

They cannot edit the time the post was published, but they can edit the post.

You mean it's possible to post a photo & replace it ? and to post a text post & add an image later ?

I advise you not to believe it, they are usually scammers...

You should re-read my post, I added that introductory point to explain my situation, my question is about telegram features not the groups itself.

Damn, If it doesn't mention wether the posts are edited or not, that would be dangerous, this platform is one hell of a scammer pit.

There will be a small label at the bottom of the post if the post has been edited.

There's usually an "edited" at the bottom right of said post, but it only shows up when the post is edited
