It seems that telegram has limits to how many groups you can join in a certain time frame.

I wouldn’t think they would have it, but it looks like I’ve joined maybe 15-20 and got stopped out.

Anyone else having better results?

yeah thats new and I have the same problem now! like a month ago it was no problem joining with python telethon 120 groups in a row. Now I get after 5 joining exception. Do you have a timeframe you wait before sending next joining to api?
 
300 second between each join request seems good for now
 
i have same problem with get members from group. how to set timer to wait some seconds i cant set time.sleep() in row ? need help please.

do not scrap member from big groups 5K+ try to find group with 1K - 2K members

Have fixed the problem i have a soloution to add timer and cooldown. every 1000 members the script wait 30 seconds and it works. :)
 
Wait for a little to join the next one
