Hello,

While my ads are still in review, I decided to make another one (duplicate). Shortly after the status of it changed to Declined. The reason:

This ad was rejected
Irrelevant destinations

The language of the ad and destination must match the language of the targeted channel. Read more about this issue

The ad description and channel description are 1:1. Both clearly written in English. The channel is also entirely in English. Never had such scenario. I’ve received declines in the past for deceptive practices, but never language.

I’ve tried resubmitting it. The other ones keep staying in review for days. I’ve texted support several times but nothing.

TG support is universally bad, impossible to get anything done without a contact on the inside. If you don't have one, then resubmit several times/across more than one account (I know this might be cumbersome) but the likelihood is you might be able to bypass one of the manual reviewers if you don't have a prior rejection on the account, which is next to impossible if it has already been rejected before.

Unfortunately I don’t have anyone on the inside. I’ve been running legal ads for more than 6 months without changing a thing. I have one more account I once used and I noticed that the ad in it also got declined, although it was stopped. I do believe that Telegram makes a lot of money from these ads, so I can’t explain why the platform is so poorly managed.

My understanding is that they have a pretty small team managing a gigantic platform and so their ability to manually handle/review things like this is fairly limited, especially given a lot of their bandwidth would have gotten constrained by their current focus on the TON blockchain. It is annoying - my personal frustration for years has been how their ad platform keeps serving scam ads in my channels.

where did you make your ads in telegram? telegram mini apps' ads placement?

Yes, exactly. I keep seeing scam ads in every channel I visit and yet mine get declined, which violate no rules.

No, their original Ad platform.

telegram is not that great when it comes to this stuff, it can be hard to figure out the actual problem and a lot of times it just requires trial and error, be sure to read over their rules very carefully, for example don't have too many emojis

I've tried different versions but now they are all stuck in review. Same thing happened around NYE, and it took around 16-20 days for their team to review them and start running. I am sending messages to their support every day hoping someone will see it.

elegram Ads Rejected? Fix This!

Reason:
"Irrelevant destination" = Your ad & landing page don’t match.

Quick Fixes:
✔️ Check the link – Test in incognito. Broken? Fix it.
✔️ Match the vibe – If ad says "FREE," page must scream FREE (no hidden paywalls).
✔️ Less spammy – Ugly page? Add trust elements (contacts, real pics).

Still blocked? Politely ask support – sometimes bots mess up.

#TelegramAds #FixRejectionsFast

(No fluff, just what works.)

P.S. Want higher approval odds? Use cloaking wisely (or don’t, lol). ️‍♂️

not to be a broken record, but I dont think you'llm get much luck from their support unfortunately, I'd say just keep on trying and changing up your ads, maybe try using chatgpt or something to identify issues with your ads more perfectly

It’s probably telegram’s AI picking up on deeper stuff. Could be the vibe feels off, the content doesn’t fully line up or your channel's missing some key info. Even old rejections for sketchy stuff can leave a soft flag behind which slows things down or makes reviews stricter. Tory updating your channel’s “About” section and your latest posts to better match your ad copy. Also you can tweak the ad text just a bit, enough to make the system give it a second look, hopefully by a real human this time. Avoid resubmitting the same ad word-for-word ‘cause that just drags out the review process. If you're still stuck, bumping up your CPM a little or even setting up a fresh clean channel might help

That's like a surgery lol. I've changed the channel about info to match the ads description. I resubmitted one of the 'In review' ads with different text to see if it will be any different, but it's still in review. I have a developed channel so changing it is not an option, so what I'm left with is experimenting with the options you've mentioned. Thanks for the advice!

I had same kind of issues and gave up but it's funny they dont even let you take back your money, it'll stuck in that platform

I've thought about that as well. Imagine you've deposited $5000 and get in the loop. This is why I always enough to last me a week and refill after that.

Hi there!
In this case it's hard to say why the TG decided to shut down the Ad if the language was the same. Overall we can say that running tg ads can be complicated and only their support can give clearance to why they've decided to reject the ad

"Irrelevant destinations" - Telegram thinks the issue is in the channels you want to promote in, not in your ad. You should try launching ads in like 5-10 channels from all your list who would be the most "relevant", and then just launch new ones by adding more once you get approved to find out which channel or channels Telegram thinks you should not be advertising in.

But since your ads are getting stuck in review, it's also form of rejection. They would get accepted fast, if they were compliant.

Try new texts, targeting options, just keep launching and see what sticks.
