    Hello,

    I have one technical.

I would like to buy xrumer in future and im using mass commenting software, so there are many consecutive queries on my internet.

    There is the question:
When i use VPN to connect these softwares to the internet, will be frequency of request decreased on my ISP side because of VPN tunel, or it will be somehow transformed and Proxy server takes the load and frequent queries.

Maybe dumb question, i dont understand the function of protocols and net.

Good question. I just got a warning from my ISP, after running xrumer with no proxy or vpn. I'm looking at getting one of those now--btw anyone know if VPN or proxy is better, or how many you need for XRumer?

To answer the question, I think a VPN basically sets up a tunnel. SO, -I think- your ISP will see an encrypted stream of data and will not be able to very easily identify what it is. As compared to, doing it all in the clear, where they can look at your data and probably have a pretty good guess...

Also, with a VPN or proxy, anyone who compliains will be complaining to your vpn/proxy provider, rather than your ISP, as they can't see your real IP. Hope that helps!

Yes, proxy or vpn whatever you are using will take the load. But you will still be capped on your isp bandwidth then proxy/vpn bandwidth. If you have a 10mbit line at home but if the proxy/vpn is capped at 1mbit, then final speed will be 1mbit. That's why people are looking for fast proxies/vpn.

A vpn creates a secure tunnel and funnels all traffic through the tunnel. Most of them are encrypted so its hard for an isp to see the end traffic. As long as you are not over fair amount usage, you will be fine. Proxies will do the job but may leak your real ip, depending on your browser settings. Using them for softwares like xrumer or scrapebox is fine since no browsing is involved. Vpn is good for everything including browsing, chatting, downloading, watching movies etc because you will stay anonymous as long as you are connected to the vpn.

The disadvantage of a vpn is, if you get banned, you will be banned for life and not all vpn providers allow scraping. But if your private proxy gets banned, you can just get another one and keep doing what you are doing.

Solution can be buyig VPS (Virtual Private Server) for around $10-$20 monthly on 100mbit line.

You realy think that Standard proxy :80 and VPN tunell both takes only one thread?

I think standard proxies takes all threads and only VPN makes single dataflow/connection..

PS: Is there any way of using VPN to connect software to the internet and then switching another free proxies using my mass commenter windows software.. while connected via VPN. Or i must use only one VPN proxy if we count not buying several ones?

You can connect to a vpn service and then connect to other browser proxies found out in the wild. That would be considered a multiple hop proxy.

I've used both vpn and proxies (private and scraped) for automatic poster (sb n xrumer) and manual job. vpn connection is more stable for automatic poster (it can match your isp's or rdp's top speed if you're using minimum 100mbit shared or 10mbit dedicated port speed) and it is more secure with encrypted data. the disadvantage of one ip from vps is more expensive than a few proxy ips. for instance you purchase one vps include one ip (purchase more ip add cost about $1 - $2 per ip) with 100mbit connection costs $5 - $10, with the same price you can buy 3 to 5 proxy ips. and also if you're just using one ip, your ip will soon get banned by forums or akismet. you have to add / change new ip per month or week in your vps or maybe jump from one to another vps provider every month, lol, because so far i haven't met vps provider that allows their client to change vps ip every month except add new ip.

so, i decide to use both for different purpose.

Vpn its very useful for limited quote traffic. So we can used traffic without limited quote of data.
