    Hello,

I currently work for a company that is thinking of opening a division for people to work from home. I was given the task of gathering the info for this project. I have most of it completed, but I am a little unsure about VPNs vs. Dedicated Server. My question is:

Do we need both for people to work from home?

There are only 7 people (max) working from home. So I know that we need a dedicated server for the hw's to access the office, but is a VPN needed as well?

Any help given is greatly appreciated. Additional resources, such as websites with products or information, are also appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mel

Yes it is, There is a need for you guys to use a VPN to share your information on your server. Try http://www.linksys.com/kb that's linksys knowledge base to know more about best VPN products or you can also use any other VPN.
