Hello all, i have about 8 extra android devices i am thinking about using in the future to automate. I know nothing about automation lol, which is why i say "future".
These are old phones that may or may not have been used for gray area marketing in the past. some were used as personal devices. (cant remember which phones i used for what)
Anyway before i use them to possibly automate in the future, i definitely want to clear absolutely all data and make unrecoverable. I do not want any personal or business related data leaked at all. Not even a chance. Ill throw those phones away before i take a chance of compromising data.
After brief research, I've landed on the method of deleting and then "re-writing" the data that lurks behind after a reset, by filling up the max space with data (what kind?) and then deleting (repeat process 5 times)
- Does this work?
-Bulletproof?
What tech-vets can tell me if this is a reliable method, or if it's just another turd wrapped in cashmere?
