Teamviewer ran by US Government?

Hate to be boring about jumping on the government snooping bandwagon... anyway.

I installed teamviwer on 2 pcs on my local network, and started 1 up as a VPS, and when i connected via the second one, the ip that shows on the screen is connection to (just the ip number)

When i can ping the ip address from inside teamviwer, and then the command prompt comes up, but its timing out. The transfer rate on team viewer is going up. Has anyone noticed this, and from what i checked online, the "DoD Network Information Center" isn't the official hq of the Dungeons of Dragons club.

Those fuck** spies everywhere. I installed teamviewer for the first time (3 days ago). If this for real, i am gonna un-install it.'

edit: I googled and this (DOD Network) is from the defense department.

Wow, seems like if you want true privacy, you're better off just talking to the person you're communicating with face to face.

Or make your own teamviewer type app.

If they really care about you im pretty sure uninstalling teamviewer is not going to stop them from snooping in your stuff.

They are partners with GFI, which is a US based company.
Its a well known business model for governments:

1. Create "free" software
2. Make taxes higher

Come on are you guys seriously still surprised about this in 2014?

The techonlogy the government has is 10+ years past what they release to the public + the supercomputers so by now they are most likely sucking up EVERY bit of info that is sent via internet.

I cant remember the name of this project the government has going but they are just pulling every bit of data everyone sends into this HUGH data base, even if its encrypted its just a matter of time them supercomputers figure it out.
