A big hi to all members!

I have been a long time lurker here. I previously did dip my toes in Internet marketing, but didn't get very far. I used Free Store and a banner seller (sorry, can't remember the name, was that long ago), but didn't make any money with either.

One difficulty I see is I am an American based in Japan. Ebay and Amazon here require you to be a company, which limits what I can do here. I did sell some books on Craigs List here, which is in English, but that was a short term project for clearing out a lot of stock from a family member's house here in Japan.

I currently teach EFL at universities, and my income is fairly good, though depending on the exchange rate it is not as good as I would like, especially for when we travel outside of Japan.
I do class blogs, but these are not money makers. I also have some YouTube videos monetized, but since I have been inactive on my channel, I haven't seen any income there. I also do have Udemy courses active, but have only made a paltry 100 dollars or so over a year. Some of the students never took much of the classes when they were free, so that hasn't helped with its progress. I am considering to promote these courses offline (I don't really read Japanese, and my wife isn't one to help much with this project at the moment as we had some privacy worries because of a family suit), but am still considering options as to whether postering, mail box stuffing, or handing out fliers would be better.

    Best to all this 2015,

Thank you. It's a good forum with a lot of information. It's amazing the kinds of things people do. Sometimes I wish i was in the US as some networking would be a lot easier, but everything is relative.
