Make it CPA.

When people want to download or convert a youtube video they have to click a link or a banner first. Some networks don't mind incentivized traffic, so this is the way to go as I see it.

Make the paid membership optional and call it "Donation" so it won't look like you are milking your users for a service they can get for free. Remember, people are not stupid and they certainly won't give you their money if you piss them off. Now, calling it "supporting the site" and giving them a shiny username and "donator" title and other small extras is an entirely different story, though.
