Hunting around for domain brokers from whom to buy domains for my PBN's, I came across tbsolutions.info.

Their homepage requires you to 'register to view domains'. I registered, and after entering my details and confirming my email address, I was surprised with a "You need to pay $25 to see our list"... Now, if they had been up front about that, I wouldn't have bothered registering - why would I pay to see their list? If I see something I like, I'll buy it. If I see rubbish, I won't buy anything. I, and countless thousands others no doubt, object to being charged for 'looking'.

Their claim in requiring $25 is to 'protect domains from evil eyes' - an intent that I support 100%, except their actions are not consistent with their stated intent. If that was indeed their intent, they would require only $1 from a verified PP account, rather than a non-refundable $25, that can only be used if you choose to purchase one of their domains, which of course you can't assess until you pay them.

It appears that their intent is to collect a minimum of $25 from anyone who wants to look at their list - which then forces me to conclude that their list must be pretty crappy, and they don't expect to make money by selling domains.

That said - does anyone have any experience with them; good, bad, or other?

Have to agree with everything you have said. No way I would be paying them either....

Indeed it makes one at least ask the question... what is their real intent?

I don't suggest they're good or bad - but the gap between their stated intent and their actions is quite a large one.

tbsolutions is legit and good from everything I have heard

There 25$ fee may be to "weed" out the non-serious because they have a "limited stock". That may be one side of the coin.

I agree with you on the fee thing though, personally unless I have a big wad of cash that I need to blow on domains I wouldnt want to pay anything before I can at least see what my options are. A 1$ fee would be much more ideal for me personally.

You wont find too much luck with other brokers either. Most require payment up front before you can even see the domain itself. Meaning you have to put all your faith into the broker.

Oh no, a website uses dubious sales copy.

Quick, call the whogivesaflyingfuck police.

According to the policy on our website you have 14 days after you verified to ask for a refund.

Ye not the best, would probably put me off as a customer, although it must be working as his business is still alive.

I buy my domains through them. They are very much legit and their domains are really spam free. Infact, I have interacted with their customer service when I forgot to accept their domain transfer and they did it promptly. $25 is to stop spammers coming into their sit and I think thats really good way to keep em spam free..

i've purchased 2 domains through them, they were garbage. this was before i knew what i was looking for in terms of domain stats.

Well, enough people here saying tbsolutions.info is not worth it, so I won't bother paying to checkout their list.

I note that I did email them immediately after I opened this thread and invited them to answer my OP, but it doesn't appear they've done so.
Unless, of course, one or more of the "I've used them, they're great" posts is by them.

Hey,

I don't understand your attack on our service.
When you say "non-refundable $25" you are deliberately lying, we say very clear (during registration and on our policy page) that this deposit is refundable in two ways:
1) When you make your first order.
2) By asking for a refund - which is rarely happens as we do our best to keep all our customers happy.

So I don't know what are your hidden intentions for discrediting our name, but I'm asking you to please stop doing so.

Wherever we buy, isn't that our responsibility to check the stats? I still believe tbsolutions has given me good domains as they really are spam free with decent pa/da..

Thanks, I did not know that, but my 14 days are gone and IMHO I find your domains to be overpriced

Send us an email, I will take of your request.
As for the prices, have you checked all our domains? our prices are relatively cheap (relative to the quality you get)...

Hi Tony

I have bought a few domains from TB Soultions and i can honestly say hand on heart i have been more than impressed with the domains been well worth it for me. I was a bit dubious about the $25 but they do offer a refund should you not see anything you want.

Out of 5 sites i have got they have been excellent quality and google ranked each of them very quickly.
They vary in price from $10 up to $1.5k but i have got some amazing domains from them and will only use tb solutions from now on.

I have nothing what so ever to do with Tb solutions i am just giving you my opinion
Don't write them off as they are fantastic they have saved me a lot of time as i just don't have time to sit and check domains as i run so many blog networks.
Customer service wise they have been great any help i have needed they have answered me quickly and helped me in making a few choices between domains.
Over all i like them give it a whirl if you aint happy you get your $25 back!!!
Any way good luck building the network
