Taxes for greyhat/blackhat marketing

Hey, wanted to ask you guys do you make the information public about using blackhat services and making it known to the taxing agency in your country about it? For example by paying for social media accounts, youtube views, instagram followers with your credit card and inserting these payments in your tax papers that you hand to your taxing agency? For example, in my country services that are work related are not taxable, so I don't have to pay taxes for the money I spend on my work aka internet marketing, but I don't known if it's a good idea to be exposing the use of such services to the government.
Just in general I'm interested how do you guys that do blackhat marketing are doing your taxes?

I've never had the IRS ask for itemized spending on that low of a level. Usually, a general deduction of like "$xx,xxx spend on social media marketing services" is sufficient. If for whatever reason you do have to itemize that on a lower-level, the IRS doesn't give a fuck about anything except extorting money from people to spend on dumb shit, so you'll be fine. Besides, black hat marketing isn't illegal (unless you do it in an illegal way).

You mean it doesn't matter if we act against a websites terms of services, we only have to act in line with the law of the country we are living in?

In the united states unless you have a job you go to each day you don't need to pay taxes

you think drug dealers pay taxes? In Breaking Bad they "pretended" to launder money for jesse and walter but only because vince mulligan wanted to keep saul in the story until the end and the car wash was a symbol of how much walt hated skylar who was a uselss character. No one in the real world launders money like that.

Personally I’d say that if your putting money into the system (banks, PayPal etc) then you should pay taxes because otherwise there’s a fair chance they’ll (eventually) find it.

Breaking a website terms of service does not constitute breaking the law. That said, as others have said, you really only have to list it as a social media expense. If you ever did have to produce something there's no need to lie about it though.

I doubt the IR$ is going to be worried about these expenses being tied to SEO - they are more concerned that the expenses are ordinary and necessary to the type of business you run.
