Taxation over crypto

According to this news, they will apply taxes in the conversion crypto to fiat in Azerbaijan.

I think this could be beneficial,because now governments are taking crypto seriously, and making it more official without having to prohibit.

What do you think? What are the downsides?

Are you from Azerbaijan ? I have no idea how many members here are from that place. Good that they are regulating instead of banning.

It is more like: Governments will boycott everything crypto related as they don't want to lose the old-good banky way.

I am from Brazil, but I found this news interesting to discuss, because, at least for me, this is a good approach from such countries
