Hi,

Not that I should be worried about it yet cuz I haven't earned anything but do we get taxed on our earnings.
Lets say I earned something through services and paid via paypal. Do I have to report that as income?
I am in Canada.

And you have a way for me to make money, that would be good too. hehehe

Im sure there is some limit, i know the US has like a $300 limit after which you have to provide a tax certificate. Sure you'l find it in the terms of service.

Any financial institute will ask for some form of tax paying proof

In Canada, technically yes... You're supposed to report even garage sale income... It's a little harder to trace and prove, but online with paypal especially since it's linked to your bank account is another story. I think the banks notify the gov if there's activity of around 5k in your account that is from other sources (audit red flag). Really depends on how much money you're talking, and how good of a story you can come up with for getting the cabbage if you get audited... Good luck!! Move to a tax haven like Bermuda!!! :o)

Ok. so here a twist. If make money via paypal and my paypal is not connected to my bank account and then I would pay someone in the Philippines where they probably have tax haven.
Would I still get taxed?
