Tax info... What do I do???

how is it so hard for you ?

http://taxes.about.com/od/Federal-Income-Taxes/qt/Tax-Rates-For-The-2013-Tax-Year.htm

keep receipts for expenses .. take to an accountant - have them prepare for you.

or start a company - keep receipts - give to accountant.

in USA - taxes are taxes if you earn money your paying something most likely -- but you are going to find out that your going to have to earn 10,000 or more to really notice it.

Well, considering 99% of the things I do, I NEED to do (breathe, eat, earn money so I'm not homeless + thrown in jail for being homeless) I'm just going to claim everything as a business expense. Life is expensive.

Lol... its not hard, you just haven't looked on google, or just go ask a damn accountant.. Its simple. Get the info.. your accountant does all the paperwork.

Just to represent all possibilities, including the tax honesty, if I were in your situation I would for future CPA applications NOT identify oneself as "US" anything, as a practical way to prevent the tax machinery from possibly being (mis)applied to you. Only apply for programs that accept non-US affiliates, and list a non-US address (say a maildrop) for the address---then the online form won't demand a SSN slave number from you. If you must work with a US address, try to keep your affilliate account earnings below $600, perhaps repeated across several different accounts, so that the info is not reported to the IRS.

How would that work though? You will be needing offshore banks to receive the money (assuming the company you're working with accepts wire transfers.) Paypal or checks you cannot use because they send information to IRS once in a while. If they find out you have not been paying taxes on income received via paypal, you are getting audited... and checks? You will be dropping them off at a non-US address? Hmm...

Im not saying it cant happen, but it would be hard... any pointers you may have to further clarify your point would be appreciated :)

I'm not giving tax advice (just stating what I might do), and I'm not talking about earning through paypal or bank wires, just doing so in low amounts (using stealth/pseudonym IDs) if at all. Receipt at an American bank is acceptable if the holdings are in the low thousands. As a practical matter, if you are receiving paper checks forwarded from a mail drop and/or earning in the lower amounts mentioned above such that it doesn't trigger reporting, nothing gets reported. If you don't associate the SSN with your earnings, or are using pseudonyms, your risk is very limited. The point is if you are not, and don't act like you are a US person you are not subject to the reporting regs for US persons, period.

I know it's not rocket science but I want to approach this with EXTREME precaution... I don't want to get into any legal trouble
You wouldn't get into any problem by filling any form, everyone in the States has to fill a W9 form issued by the IRS in order to maintain Taxes and all. Best of Luck Mate!
