Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has managed to actively target site-links and then actually got them. What I mean by that is site-links in SERPS (not the ones that come up when you search for your brand name).

I know that a clear site architecture is imporant and that you need on the first page for it but other than that I am unaware how to review your current site to improve it towards getting those site-links.

Has anyone done that and has some tips for identifying weaknesses on your site that harm site-links being generated?

Thanks in advance.

Getting sitelinks for your brand search is easy, you need to have subpages and optimised content. Getting sitelinks for kw serps is much harder, in addition to brand search requirements, you need to have a good authority website and rank on top.

Hey don, thanks for replying.

While we rank in top 3 positions for a number of KW, mainly based on our large number of backlinks, we still don't get sitelinks whereas our competitors do that are lower than us (4-10). This is where I struggle to identify the next steps to take to identify weaknesses in the site structure. e.g. I am not sure if we have linked too much internally between all the pages and should reduce it. How does one go about answering that question?
