Targeting same keyword with different blog posts

Hi guys,

Just wondering about targeting the same keyword with different blog posts, for example if I was writing a post like "4 tips to improve your marketing skillset" targeting improve your marketing skills and then wrote a follow up post maybe entitled "4 more tips to improve your marketing skillset" again targeting the keyword "improve your marketing skills" would google see this as keyword cannibalization because I am targeting the same keyword in an attempt to rank for it or will it just rank whichever post performs better?

It is better to make it one post, if your target keyword is "improve your marketing skills", see who is your competitors that rank with this keyword and look how good is their content and than you write better content than your competitor.
