Hi all

In my niche,"XXXX for sale" (XXXXX is product) has good monthly search, around 3000.When I checked its competition using LTP, its below 20 and I am able to see Pure eCommerce site in first page. Can I target this keyword with good article and back link ?

If you're selling the product (or at the very least directing visitors to a site where they can get the best deal on it) and you have a site that can compete for it, then I don't see why not.

Mine is Amazon affiliate website but having good Content and I am looking to write "for sale" keyword. Since all other first page is not an affiliate site and all are E commerce site, I doubt whether I can rank but As per Long tails Pro it shows competition is only 15.

If the competition is less then you can rank on first page for that keyword if you optimize your website properly.

I have read that in Google if it is an eCommerce search term then only eCommerce style websites will rank for buying terms. You could try it, and if it does not work then one option is to produce a product page for this item(s) and then link to that page with your article that you have wrote. You should also create a few more internal posts and link to the sale page (It will help the ranking, but remember to change up the anchor text). Or if that's not working then you could combine the two types of posts.
