Target Related Keywords in 1 Article ?

Hello, do you include all related keywords in one article?

Example -

Main kw: best running shoes

Related kws:
best running shoes for men
best running shoes for women
best running shoes brand
best running shoes for beginners
best running shoes nike

But each keyword have different search volume. If related keywords are included, would it not confuse the search engine as what this article is mainly about?

those are great keywords to include in your article, so you should include them.

If you title your article Best Running Shoes google will know what the main keyword is. And they're gonna rank you anyway for the other keywords, as well, which is good

You'll find if you write a really high quality and content rich article you'll get picked up by not only these keywords but hundreds if not thousands of others

If the competition on those related keywords is very low then i would include them all in one article, else i would make a post for each one

Depends on what search engines wants to see.

Search for them one by one and check top results.

Sometimes you'll see content about specific topic, other times it will be a mixture. Follow these patterns.

Even though it looks like those keyword are close because most of the words are the same, the last part changes context dramatically and that's what matters the most in SERPs today.

Make them H2 titles within the article as topic titles, and then write about each one.
Example:

Best Running Shoes Nike
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed consequat tempus neque, in laoreet elit condimentum ac. Cras sollicitudin rutrum ipsum, quis pharetra ligula rutrum vitae. Phasellus ac risus blandit, eleifend erat nec, porttitor dolor.

If you got enough content to target & products for related keywords then you can also set separate inner pages to target.

Well you have pointed out a good example here.
Now your question about including all those keywords in the post.
You should include them not only based on their search volume or any other metrics you consider but also other factors like relevancy with the topic.
In this case I find those keywords very much relevant and what you could do is write a section with types/categories of running shoes and put these related keywords as bullet list.
You can go one more step forward and either link these to other inner pages on these topics or directly put affiliate links also.
A quick approach for researching the content is create your main article structure should be based on the top5 ranking pages.
Once you compare the top 5 with the set of keywords you have you can group the keywords based on the topics and subtopics.

The example you gave, you can include these keywords n one article. They are related and also limited in number.

Yes, it can confuse the algorithms and I really don't think you should include all these keywords in just one article, it won't make any sense. On one hand, algorithms will recognize this activity as keywords stuffing and you may even get punished with lower rankings for this. On the other hand, this wouldn't even be valuable for readers as you would just stuff keywords and the text wouldn't sound natural at all. You can include all of these phrases, and in fact, you should do it, but on different articles or product descriptions. Also, make sure to implement them in tags and meta-tags as well.

You can include related keywords but the content should focus on primary keyword. Then only it will rank for primary keyword.

People are offering horrible advice here. For those kind of keywords your competition is going to be writing separate articles, when the competition is getting that granular, their content has more relevance, and because of that they are going to rank above you. If you don't believe me, go ahead and google all long tail keywords like that. It is practically the same in every niche.

I will advise you to write a separate article for each of those keywords. That is because those are all different use cases. You want to tailor your article and each of the review for each of those use cases. This will give you the best results.

Write a separate introduction/buying guide/verdict/FAQ for each of those keywords, and the products that you include must apply to that use case only and when you're reviewing those products think from the angle of the keyword, tailor each review for the audience searcing for that keyword (search intent).
