taobao help

anyone familiar with using this site?

im looking for a good wholesale site ...but a REAL one. not the suckers at places like alibaba.
those are NOT manufactures. they are middle men selling for just below retail and placing their own items on ebay for less than you are selling them for.

Make a friend in China using "Interpals" and then they can assist you in buying the items and mailing them to you.
One thing to know about any business over there is long term means nothing to them.

bad way of doing business but im sure a lot of people come and go. thanks for the heads up.
i also thought of another way to (try) to find someone.
i thought there were people on here that do just this thing.

i am using sourcing agent in china and satisfied with her trusty and job done, she is now my friend too, if you interested. i will recommend to you too

Maybe try on sites like freelance? Say that you need someone from China that is familiar with wholesale/export businesses. You will get lots of offers, check with everyone separately and ask them a lot of questions so you can see if they are for real or just someone having no idea what he is doing. And maybe contact(call works best) one company directly and ask them for nprice and everything and than ask your guy to do the same. You will see with what price he will come back so you can see if he wants/will rip you off.
And be careful. Some manufacturers and agents like to send great working test items and when you buy big, they send crap. I once ordered some electronic material. First 100 items I ordered had 100% working rate and than when I ordered 5k, the quality of materials and product in general was lower and I had to test them all before sending to customers because working rate was less than 50%. I dealt with factory directly tho and got non working ones replaced, but it was not pleasant experience.

Help the UK/ italian/australia/Israel clients to buy from Taobao more than 3 years. Generally they select the items themselves,paid for them and buy it,after receive it, i took picture of each items and check the quality, then send pictures for clients and tell them the quality, if clients said ok, i'll help to arrange the shipment. for most of clients i do this for help, very fewer commission than most other agent and can arrange the cheapest shipment, skype: shanon.wang
