Taobao, 1688 or Alibaba?

Hello BHW, I need to find a manufacture on China that I can buy some goods from them and import to my country. I have seen some manufactures on Instagram that are potential but I need to know if taobao, 1688 or Alibaba can provide me the cheapest prices directly from the factory of manufactures?
Any of you got some answer or experience?

I would go with alibaba. But sometimes MOQ are not low.
 
i have use Taobao but you will need a freight Agent agent with a location in China to deal with the language and logistics, you will get better deals and more products that are not in Alibaba

All prices are negotiable, but a certain quantity is required.
1688 is the largest wholesale website in China.
Taobao is the largest distribution platform
These three sites are all owned by one company.
 
I tried this with AliBaba, so I will suggest you to go with alibaba.

Yes but most Chinese do speak English nowadays. Try to talk to them via online Chat on 1688.
The tip here is to buy from stores with alot of repeat purchases and at least 4 stars review, ideally the store should be operating for more than 3 years (the longer the better). Since 1688 serve mostly locals, the local Chinese are really capable of spotting poor quality seller. So you can be assure that the repeat purchase will be very low for poor sellers. If you are worry, start with low quantity purchases. And buy more once you have checked the quality of product.

So you mean I should try 1688 rather than on tabaou and Aliebaba?

Yes will recommend 1688 if you are looking at low price. Just remember to source out seller with high repeat purchases and operating for at least 3 years or more. If you are dropshipping on Shopee Thailand, you can ship the product directly to Shopee China Warehouse, and Shopee will handle the shipping for you at a very cheap shipping rate directly to your end customer. Best of all they can even do cash on delivery.

I’m a Chinese (not by National) and only vote for aforementioned.

Reasonable MOQ, lower pricing with good quality, lesser chargebacks, and fast turnover - ultimately depending on your niche and product assortment.

the 1688 is cheaper than Alibaba, you have to buy larger volumes, you need an agent on site for imported appeal
 
1688 is the cheapiest, but you might need agent to handle the overseas shipping
