    Is it possible to tamper and edit the data that a browser such as firefox or chrome sends to a forum, such as screen resolution, user agent and etc?

    I've played around with it but I can't seem to discover how do I edit variables such as screen resolution and other operating system data sent by the browser.

    Any ideas or a link for a tutorial?

    Most of the data you're seeking to modify is controlled by the useragent string. That is what determines, the OS, browser type, plugins, and many other parameters.

    The resolution is not controlled by the userstring but rather is gathered from the desktop setting and relayed if you're using RDP. Of course this considers your RDP settings are correct on the host.

    Your setting on your RDP client will determine the resolution setting on your host. Change the resolution setting on your RDP client and you changed the host resolution. To get a large variety of resolutions just create a bot to do command line rdp logins setting the resolution in the command line. ;-)

    Color depth is the only caveat

    There used to be a plugin for Firefox called Tamper Data. Used it plenty in my MMORPG days :)

    Yes you can. At least you could back in the day havent checked in ages. There was an application called privoxy which was able to spoof HTML header data as it passed through it.

    I could not discover any way to temper browser data so far. If I found, I will update on this post.

    You don't even need an extension. about:config -> new String ->
    Code:
    general.useragent.override
    -> your new useragent

    check out browserleaks.com. you cannot spoof all that stuff. at least not in chrome. firefox can spoof screen res and agent. but thats about it.
    well you actually can by doing a lot of writing, but it is useless. cookies and local storage are the main 'issues'.
    and now that there are talks about ipv4 running out the future for a couple of years looks bright.
