Hey guys :)

Time for another journey. My first one was total crap, my second one was crap too until things changed in the end and this will be a success now.

Summing it up, crashing 3 affiliate sites and losing money before making the first sales is bad. But, I sticked to it and now things are running much better. I learned how to use my coding skills in my IM ventures and things improved dramatically.

I did completly wipe out all my old projects, don't wanna waste a thought on it.

So what am I up to right now?

Site #1:
Targeting the German Market. Launched at ~09.01.2017
  • Content mainly scraped from Amazon and other sources
  • A lot of pages (8000)
  • Duplicate Content
  • Nearly Any Links Build
  • Nearly Any Interlinking
  • Domain was a 15$ one from @Nargil
I started this site with an expired domain because I thought that would make it much easier to get things indexed. This domain isn't strong as it was just 15 bucks, but Nargil got me a great one with clean history and a few links which made it easier to index my pages.

Earnings so far:
  • 270$ in January
  • 530$ in February

Site #2:
Targeting the American Market. To be finally launched in the next few days.
  • (Improved) Content Scraping from Amazon
  • (More than) A lot of pages (aiming at 15000)
  • Duplicate Content
  • No Link Building
  • Improved Interlinking
  • Rich Snippets for better CTR
  • Domain is a 60$ one, once again from the great @Nargil
As the domain was on godaddy I decided to try their hosting. Worst decision ever. Never go with godaddy, their are just such a retard hoster. Should have googled for reviews before purchasing....

To fix up all the issues with godaddy (increadible slow site and low performance of running scripts) I searched for another provider and found @littlewebdragon here on BlackHatWorld :) Customer service so far was awesome, prices are fair too, let's see how it works :)

Site #3:
Targeting the American Market again. To be launched until May.
  • Awesome Keyword bought from @Jayder
Well, that's everything I've done yet. Will start to work out a plan for this site once Site #2 is finally finished and running.

I'm aiming for at least 1000$ month from Amazon affiliate sites. I know that those shit duplicate content sites won't work forever that's why I'll start to work on more sustainable projects like Site#3.

But what's about the Client Work?

Yes, this will definitely become part of my Journey once I finished those three sites and got more time. Currently writing exams and some of them are incredibly hard to pass, consuming a lot of my time. I code websites for 5 years now and learned a lot about SEO in the last year so I'll try to make some money soon too as a webdeveloper with upsold SEO features.

I tried to update daily in my last journeys, but that's most of the times fucking boring. I'll update whenever something special happens or I want to. Will report on earnings from time to time too.

Let's see how this journey will work out :)

Good luck mate!

Awesome feat with that German domain. Already pulling $500 a month is awesome!

Good luck! :)
Thank you! :) Actually can't really wait to work on the site with your keyword. Coding that automated stuff got a little boring and working on "real" niche sites is more fun :D

Thanks! :) And once again thanks for the great domain ;) I hope the second project works out as fine, too. Especially that the domain is stronger than the first one :)

Well done on not giving up. Good luck on this one.

Thank you :) Although I'm still taking bad decisions sometimes and far away from being an expert, persistence really is a key to success :)

Pleasure mate. :) US market is tougher, but I am sure that you can pull it off. You are a great example for people who are overthinking it with expired domains as money sites.

Good luck with your journey buddy! :) Looking great and very well organized indeed. Great job so far as well! :)
Thanks! And once again thanks for setting up the discount code for me :)

As this is some serious long tail stuff and there are plenty low competition in US market too, I'm quite optimistic. Got close to 9k visitors so far without a single keyword getting more than 30 clicks :)

Well, I had 15$ in my pocket and thought I could benefit from an expired domain and without ever starting you can't make money so sometimes you should simply go for it. Especially if you don't have 1500$ or something like this to get a really really good domain. A 15$ domain will be better than a fresh one 100% of the times if it had been checked right (in which I trust you 100% :)). And even if the advantage is marginal I'd like to use it :)

Following your journey...Want to check how the things work for expired domain site. GL :)
Thanks mate :) Your services might become interesting for me when working on "real" niche sites again, definitely bookmarked it!

Perfect. Even I could learn a thing or two from your techniques. :)

Well, you even know the domains my projects run on :D

I actually thought Google would kind of slap me quite soon for using thousands of pages of duplicate content, but they don't give a fuck and keep sending me traffic. Nice converting traffic :) My EPM should be around 90$. In my Search Console Google lists like 300 Keywords Clicks of the total of ~8500. I'm feeling like not even Google knows where my visitors are coming from :D

That's true, but I don't do stuff like that. :D

Well, country specific Google versions outside .com work completely differently. I know my country version is still in 2010 at best.

I wouldn't trust all members here on that, but I'm quite sure I can believe you :D

Yes, Google actually most of the times is quite confusing. It feels like they got some random elements in their algo, like Larry Page rolling a dice out of boredness.

How are you getting visitors to your german site? As you said it's a recent domain so I doubt it's already ranking in Google.

The day after I submitted it to Google and had the content set up I received my first visitors. The domain is a few years old and has some links.

Btw your Affiliate journeys are great and were a nice source of information for me :) Followed them (especially your second) from the beginning until now. Your try to do SEO work for clients was an inspiration too for me to think about doing client work. Maybe we can exchange some ideas about that once I'm doing it :) Good luck anyway!

All the best bro! "Content scrapped from Amazon" - May I know how you're doing that???

Thank you :)
I'm using a Custom bot written in Java with Jsoup for scraping :)

Small update: Hit 600$ on site 1 :)

Awesome, I am looking forward to seeing what happens. Do you mind if I ask you how the new Amazon associates pricing structure will affect you? Or are you just ignoring that and going ahead with what you have planned

Nice. I have similar site with amazon aff links.

1. Do you aim specific niche?
2. How do you do Interlinking?
3. How do you send people to amazon? "Buy it now buttons"? What text do you use?
