I wrote a article on squidoo and It been 7 days now. i used a anchor text for my keyword which redirects them to the site i want to rank. When I put site: in google it shows that it indexed. Yet no backlink. Does it usually take a long time?
When G. visit your site, then do the spider rarely crawl the entire page. It comes and goes in a total random pattern and depending on the type of spider.
That's why it's a good idea to ping your link etc. to get them indexed.
