Tails OS with a proxy server?

I'm working on a little project, and I have bumped into a big wall. I'm pretty new to Tails OS, but I like its anonymity thus far. However, I don't like how it usually gives me an IP from way across the world. Is there some program/software or way I can use a proxy from a particular country when I want to, while on Tails?

I've read that there's a way to use proxy chains in Tails, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that, or if that is the resolution I'm looking for. Any help would be a real blessing fam, thanks.
