meh. no reason to hate on this guy that I can see..
who really gives a shit if all his stuff is rented, that's a smart move IMO since that oversized house and expensive car aren't assets, there financial liabilities once you own them.
I've been subscribed to his youtube channel for 3-4 months, he *tries* to deliver a lot of value, even if a lot of it is rehashed shit. Not sure about his paid courses so can't comment on that..
I'm kind of shocked people are complaining about this guy though.. considering our industry is full of negative billing offers that are basically sawdust pills, work at home scams, FNEWS sites with fake testimonials and DR OZ endorsements lol.. not to mention ewhoring, penis pill spam, getting people to install annoying adware etc.. I don't promote any of that shit but I consider it quite a bit worse than anything I've seen Tai Lopez do.

He doesn't read 1 book a day. I don't believe him.
His entire personality and "business" is built off of branding himself and creating an illusion of what he is and what he has become. Although he is 100% pure BS and I hate his tactics, he's also living proof that marketing and branding can take you places.
But yeah, I'm sick and tired of his damn ads popping out everywhere. I'm never following or liking or buying or watching (intentionally) any of his crap.

We are sitting here at BLACK HAT forums complaining about someone who rented a car and a house to sell his course online... Ok, it may be a dirty way to do things but come on, that's what a lot of this is. I personally say fair play to him, he has made some decent wedge right there. If the course was of no value then he would be paying a lot of people back so I can't see the issue. As cheesy and as annoying it is for us to see, fair play mate!

Tai on the other hand, is just great at marketing. Let's be honest he's the king at it right now..... hiring Mark Cuban to feature in a video.. genius, yip Mark can be rented as well according to his website.
My video is in no way shape or form a reflection of what I think of Tai. I just think he's a hustler but that's besides the point. That specific video was to troll Mr, Alex becker with the shit colored looking Pikachu Ferrari. it was also to let me followers know how Tai makes his money... I had to use something for content so pretty much used the truth.

They aren't hating on success they are going after people making false claims like what the majority of these gurus do. Even Patrick Bet-David is a bullshit artist to an extent(not on his wealth but his blog).

Yea, I understand that, but what false claims do they claim that Tai Lopez is making? From what I know, he is a successful entrepreneur, works hard for his money, and provides value. He might show off fancy cars and houses, but the main product he promotes doesn't even have anything to do with money, for the most part.
The point I was making is that people will constantly scrutinize the tiny things like whether he rents his house or not, or whether his car is really his. None of that matters really. He is just using tools to market his products .. The same thing that everyone of us marketers do.

People wouldn't care if he was open about renting, and promoted the advantages of renting vs owning. But to give the illusion of owning to appear more wealthy is designed to take advantage of people that also want success.
