Tagging, anyone else struggling with it today?

I been testing and I can post with established pages, with a lot of fans, but new pages, zero or one fan, it wont tag. It wont even post with nothing but the tag, no other text.

I wonder if FB has set up some minimum for fans to be able to tag.

Anyone else having problems and what have you seen?

EDIT: I just did it with one fan. Maybe things were just screwy earlier.

EDIT2: I just removed the fan, it it would not post. One of my other accounted fanned the page, and it posted. hmmmmmm

No point in tagging a page with zero fans - no one will see your post in their nf. I guess that's the Facebook reasoning behind this limitation (provided such limitation exists, I haven't tested). Another possible scanario - when you tried to tag the page, it was unpublished, and then published again.

Are you sure about that? Can you post a source of the news? Too bad if this is true and most of the big pages disable tagging

Yep, that is the answer. A lot of tags are not going through now. Some pages still allow it, but the majors ones dont.

I noticed, dont know if you guys have, but Wendys went down for a day and came back with their same fans, but a new id, then Sonic changed their id. So, they knew they were being tagged, way too much and changed id's.

Facebook is trying to limit the wall posts from tagging.

Working on a new idea.
