Tactical Gear site seeks SEO/Backlink pro

I've launched a tactical gear site that caters to AK-47 and SKS owners. I'm looking for someone to help me get on the map (currently page 5)
I'd like someone who knows a bit about guns and tactical gear so that he/she understands my audience and site needs.

First:

optimize keyword placement

Second:
There's so many backlinking options and gimmicks to choose from that its hard to figure out what really works and who to trust. I'm looking for someone who can get lasting results.

Third:
