Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice/help on creating a t-shirt store. I have just built a website with over a million user base that I know would love t-shirts but I don't know how to proceed. Should I find a dropshipper/designer to handle it all? Should I find a designer, send to printing shop, then have them dropshipped or shipped some other way? Should I create a Zazzle or other online type store? I have complete confidence that I will have orders being placed. I'd expect at least 500 orders on launch. Right now I'm leaning towards Zazzle just because it is an all inclusive place... I don't have to go spend money and seperately find a designer, printing shop, and dropshipper.

I want more than just 1 or 2 t-shirt designs. My website is humor based and there are many quotes I have in mind that can simply go on a blank shirt or a simple design. Anyways, sorry for the rant --- any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to find a blank t-shirt wholesaler. Then find a designer,or If you don't want to pay for designs just steal it from other sites, almost everyone uses the same templates. If you want unique stuff hire a designer.
The most important thing is that you make your own printing shop.Just calculate how much you would spend on printing ,if you make it in your own then you'll save a lot of money. If you want to buy a machine send me a PM the price is really small and you'll get great quality.I can also get you blank T-shirts since I work with big textile companys. Thanks

a heat press costs around 600$ ... which can print on any flat surface ( T-shirts, caps etc) it can also print on pillow covers, keychains, badges etc .....
than you will need a supply of blank T-shirts ( will cost you around 2$ per T-shirt)
you will need a printer also to print designs....

you can hire an indian designer or you can just copy designs ....

you can pm me if you need more information about it...as i have good experience in apparel industry :)

I used to own 2 profitable clothing companies and screen printing company pm me if you want to chat.

So you all advise against Zazzle? Obviously I know I can make more money the other way, just a lot of work and money required to start up, and I'm anxious to get something up and selling!

I have direct to printer if you looking for custom work? I do full color prints on color and whites if you are still looking for someone to help you.
